1. Overview

 

  Meifang brand flocculant is a composite solid water purifier composed of a variety of mineral raw materials. 2.  the principle of flocculation

 

  When the composite flocculant is dissolved in water, through the agitation of the water flow, a part of various inorganic salts replaces and precipitates the heavy metal pollutants in the water through ion exchange, so as to achieve the effect of solid-liquid separation. At the same time, in this process, the composite flocculant generates a large amount of charge in the hydrolysis process, and in the process of rapid stirring, the charge adsorbs the polluting particles, condenses to form microflocs, and grows into flocs through the mechanisms of electric neutralization and adsorption bridging and sediment net capture under the agitation of bridging substances and water flow, and the suspended particles in the water can be aggregated and finally flocculated.

Mechanism of sediment netting: When metal salts or metal oxides and hydroxides are used as coagulants, when the dosage is large enough to quickly precipitate metal hydroxides or metal carbonates, the colloidal particles in the water can be netted by these sediments when they are formed. When the precipitate is positively charged, the precipitation rate can be accelerated by the presence of anions in the solution when in the neutral and acidic pH ranges. In addition, the colloidal particles in the water themselves can be used as the core for the formation of these metal oxide precipitates, so the optimal dosage of coagulant is inversely proportional to the concentration of the substance to be removed, that is, the more colloidal particles, the less the amount of metal coagulant.

   Adsorption bridging: The mechanism of adsorption bridging mainly refers to the adsorption and bridging of polymer substances and colloids. It can also be understood as two large rubber particles of the same name connected together because there is a different name rubber particle in the middle.

    Polymer flocculants have a linear structure, they have chemical groups that can act with some parts of the surface of the particles, when the polymer is in contact with the particles, the groups can have a special reaction with the surface of the particles, and the rest of the polymer molecules are stretched in the solution and can be adsorbed with the particles with vacancies on the other surface, so that the polymer plays the role of bridging connection. If there are few rubber particles, the stretched part of the polymer cannot adhere to the second particle, then sooner or later this stretched part will be adsorbed by the original rubber particles on other parts, and the polymer can not play a bridging role, and the rubber particles are in a stable state.
